In order to better supply our customers in Southeast Asia, Oceania and Australia, in the year 2008, the EEW Group founded a plant for longitudinally welded steel pipes in Malaysia. Equipped with a four roll bending machine with 4.2 m (13.8 ft.) length and a JCO bending machine with 12.5 m (41 ft.) length, EEW Malaysia is in a position to manufacture longitudinally-welded steel pipes with outer diameters between 406 mm (16”) and 5,080 mm (200”) and wall thicknesses of up to 133.4 mm (5.252”). Our plant near Pasir Gudang on the south coast of Malaysia is therefore well equipped for the manufacturing of large structural pipes and pipe constructions.
