From 1967- 2007 I held executive-level positions with 4 nonprofits, including responsibility for working with boards, developing fundraising strategies and overseeing fundraising efforts and making effective, efficient use of existing resources. Since 2008 I have worked with community-based nonprofits providing assistance in board development, fundraising and executive coaching of board chairs, executive directors and directors of development. Recognizing the fundraising challenges of most nonprofits led to a book of which I was the lead author, Informed Fundraising: An Introduction and Guide, published in 2015 by BoardSource.
