However it is very difficult to comply with many of the regulations, which make life more difficult within these areas for self-employed people no matter the type of business they run, compared to employed people. VIRKSOMME kvinder is a multi-disciplined and a politically independent national organization for self-employed and co-entrepreneurial/co-owning women from all kinds of business. Every month we publish a newsletter and send it by e-mail to the members. In this you can read about new legislation and regulations concerning business life. You will also find articles about activities within the organization, about labour market relations and many other issues. We have achieved a more independent status for the co-entreprenneurial/ co-owning spouses, in order to ensure that self-employed married people are not discriminated against, compared to married people, who are both defined as employees. Furthermore we try to influence legislation to remove the heavy burdens on small enterprises. As for public further education we want special provision with a basis in the wishes and needs of the self-employed and co-entrepreneurial women, to ensure better conditions for small enterprises in their struggle for survival, and for compliance with the administrative burdens imposed by the government. VIRKSOMME kvinder offers a proper forum in the local sections, where you can meet women in the same situation and benefit from lectures, courses and actual meetings, which might ease your daily life in business. We find it very important that we exchange information with women in the same situation in other countries. VIRKSOMME kvinder was founded on November the 11th 1963.
