EI Asia Pacific (EIAP) is a Behavioural Science Training and Management Consultancy and sole authorised provider of Paul Ekman training in Australia and New Zealand through the Paul Ekman Group and Paul Ekman International PLC. The training is based on the research of Dr Paul Ekman who has studied the facial expression of emotion for over 40 years, coupled with body language and vocal tone, style and content. The training developed from his science has applications in: • Leadership and management: it has thrown new light on emotional intelligence providing a skills development base which was previously absent • Policing and security: his work on deception and lying has provided new insights to those professionals whose jobs require them to read people to explore truthfulness and credibility We build skills and capability in people performance and reading people’s emotions and intent. Our training enables greater accuracy in understanding of emotion and provides the skills to follow-up accordingly.
