EK Advanced Engineering Consulting (ABUD Hellas) is the Greek branch of ABUD - Advanced Building & Urban Design, a consultancy firm headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. Established in 2012, ABUD brings together engineers, architects and researchers specialising in sustainable building and urban design. ABUD Hellas was founded in 2024 in Kastoria, Greece, and has since operated also in Thessaloniki, Greece. We offer comprehensive services from the conceptual planning phase to the full realisation of a project ranging from detached houses to urban concepts. In addition to designing new buildings with an environmentally friendly approach, we embrace the challenge of green refurbishment for the existing building stock. Beyond delivering building and urban-scale projects, our team is dedicated to optimising building skins, the vital barrier between exterior and interior environments. We use specialised analytics tools to evaluate the energy and environmental performance of both individual buildings and entire neighbourhoods. These tools not only validate our design projects but are also offered as a service to our clients.
