EKA Language Services is a consultancy firm specializing in the provision of quality and timely Language Services. Established. Our MISSION is providing consistent, fast and excellent services while maintaining business integrity in order to meet and exceed the needs of clients. We offer a ranger of services as follows:(a) Editing We read, review and polish textual drafts (manuals, theses, questionnaires etc) to improve their readability and standardize their grammatical, structural and stylistic accuracy (b) Proofreading We read and review advanced or final drafts of texts (manuals, theses, questionnaires etc) to eliminate errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, typography, referencing and formatting.(c) Corporate Communications and Copy writing We write and draft internal communications e.g. speeches, business plans, press releases etc.(d) Translation We do inter-lingual Translation by translating texts (manuals, questionnaires, research reports, booklets, etc etc) from English into Malawian languages (Chichewa, Tumbuka, Tonga, Lambya, etc.) and vice versa. We also do intra-lingual translation by re-codifying technical text into easy to understand form for the wider public.(e) Transcription Verbatim transcription of recorded oral interviews.(f) Typesetting and Page Designing Setting final drafts of scripts and illustrations on a page in readiness for printing or posting (g) Teaching basic skills in different languages Providing lessons in various languages to the business community.
