Children make up nearly half of the almost 900 million people living on less than US $1.90 a day. Ekenywa is dedicated to partnering with private and public sector organizations to impact poverty in rural Kenyan schools. We believe in developing sustainable programs based on community needs with measurable outcomes. We believe every child should have access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities. Every child should have access to a good education. Every child should have the ability to express themselves through the creative arts. A holistic approach allows us to build a healthy and vibrant community of young Kenyan leaders and contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty.
