Elasticities

ElastiCities is a #SunwayUniversity research cluster. We place humans at the heart of our projects as cities only exist because of their people, that is why we aim to make urban spaces healthier. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to taking care of the new generations. We develop transformative and integrated solutions to help decarbonize cities, improve well-being, and face economic crisis and shocks. Our experts are leading researchers in green technologies, data science, the digital worlds, design and urban planning, tourism and heritage, and urban cultures. OUR VISION To undertake inspirational initiatives that address the Southeast Asian area's grand challenges in, broadly, “urban health”. OUR MISSION 1. To create ElastiCities Labs Teams focused on sustainable ways of living and working, that will positively impact on communities’ lives 2. To reframe debates on the history of cities and urban cultures, but also on human mobility and migrations, to participate in policy making and to train new generations of responsible citizens 3.
