Electric Motor Power (EMP) is Australian-owned and operated, with over 35 years of engineering experience and in-house research and development in designing and manufacturing brushed and brushless DC motors (BLDC). We have full sovereign capability, which means that all IP is retained onshore. We deliver high-efficiency systems for marine, mining, rail, manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation, renewable energy, defence, and transport applications. Our capabilities include BLDC motors with over 85 per cent efficiency, IP67-sealed designs, compact axial flux and inline motors, automated winding, local quality assurance (QA), and simulation-tested custom designs. We design and supply customised brushed or brushless DC motors that operate at any voltage and speeds up to rpm, with options including customised flanges, shafts, brakes, encoders, and other accessories to meet specific needs. We deliver solutions from concept to completion through bespoke designs, precision engineering, and whole-of-life support. Our industry experience means we can adapt proven models or create new designs to meet operational, environmental, and integration needs. Established in 1989, we are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 and have commenced Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) Entry Level.
