Electric Seed Llc

Electric Seed is an independent media project with the mission of creating sustained and nuanced coverage of the Amazon rainforest and its peoples. In phase I of the project, our team will create a multi-episode docuseries (each episode 10-15 minutes long) exploring the recent destruction of the rainforest by man-made fires and their effect on the communities and Indigenous peoples who live there. Our goal is to highlight the positive—the beauty and harmony of the relationship between the forest and those frontline communities, while thoughtfully engaging with the existential threat posed by agribusiness, the extraction industry and the Brazilian government. We’re motivated by the need to share these cultures and experiences, and form deeper connections between the Amazon and the rest of the world, before it’s too late.
