Electronic Management Systems

Electronic Management Systems (dba EMS)- a managed Information Technology services provider in New York City area. Electronic Management Systems was established in 1989 to aid and support the burgeoning migration to the personal computing model in business. In those early days, EMS recreated systems for clients in the legal, financial, transportation/logistics and construction management industries. EMS developed successful, custom applications for billing and logistics as well as custom construction management applications for companies. This work polished the founders’ understanding of business process management and honed their ability to apply it to IT processes. In addition, the fledgling EMS organization found early success in helping computerize the manual operations of many smaller organizations that were previously unable to afford mainframe systems. This strong technical and business background informed the culture at EMS with knowledge of the relationship between business needs and IT solutions. EMS gained wisdom early on regarding the challenges business poses to IT. For this reason, EMS enjoys an uncommon ability to maintain open avenues of development and expansion as well as singular foresight, helping organizations unlock the greatest efficiency, cost effectiveness and return on investment into IT.
