Elela Africa

Elela Africa is specialised in unique designed hands-on game ranger and conservation expeditions in Big 5 game reserves in South Africa. “Elela” is used as a Tsonga girl’s name which means “to see clearly”. The Tsonga are an ethnic group in South Africa. We have chosen the name, not only for the beauty of its sound, but also because it expresses our mission so well. Together with our partners in South Africa we have designed programmes to let our holiday rangers actively explore life in the South African wilderness, to get them in touch with all their senses again with fun and a good dollop of adventure and at the same time making a valuable contribution to nature conservation. We offer two options to choose from: our Greater Kruger camp with its focus on “learning and experience”, or our eco camp on the Garden Route, offering a hands-on experience in wildlife conservation. Intimate explorer camps in classic safari style, just right for a combination of a personal, unique experience and a fun group atmosphere. Our camps are exclusively available. We offer specific family programmes during the school holidays as well as individual leadership and team management programmes for corporate.
