Elephantine exists to redefine the café as a cultural destination — a place where the great human art form of hospitality transforms the everyday into the extraordinary. Through our commitment to excellence in hospitality, food and beverage, and decor and ambiance, we invite our guests to experience a sense of luxury and intentionality customarily reserved for life’s rare hospitality experiences. Our first café opened in 2018 in Portsmouth, NH, where we established our identity deeply rooted in community. Today, our Portsmouth location is Elephantine’s spiritual home, and the place that gave us our DNA. In 2025, we opened our second location in Boston, MA, which represents an extension of our vision for hospitality into a new horizon, introducing our concept of a slower-paced old-world cafe in a modern cosmopolitan city. We are ever building, and excited to explore continued opportunities to create transformative hospitality experiences.
