Healthcare facilities in India have improved immensely in last two decades. They are primarily concentrated in tier -1 and now expanding in tier-2 cities. While these facilities are available they are not easily accessible. In case of critical illness individual doesn’t have access to structured source of information about the illness, various possible treatment, providers, specialty hospitals, cost structure and quality of the providers. For most of these information individual depends on either primary care physician or friends and family members. In most cases this sources are misleading and results in delayed, suboptimal and in worst case wrong treatment. We faced this problem our self when our parents needed major surgery. We struggled to understand if the surgery is really required, what are the alternate treatments available, what are the risks associated with the surgery, how much it will cost, where we can get best possible treatment within our constraints. That’s where we felt the need to for a platform which can bridge this gap in healthcare industry. The idea is to empower healthcare consumer and facilitate informed decision making. This platform will provide information in direct consumable format and create awareness about medical procedures in simple and understandable language. We are committed to build a transparent and fair platform in collaboration with Healthcare providers and Physicians.
