EM Consulting is a team driven by a sense of urgency to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone who needs it. We run the Lay Counselor Academy: a practice-based, compassionate, rigorous, and relational 14-week course to train people to do mental health counseling. We also have a team of lay counselors and licensed clinicians who provide direct services through employer-based contracts. Our experienced consulting team supports organizations to truly integrate mental health, substance use, and social care into all health systems, enhancing empathic, humanizing practices.
