Elk Mound Seed

Elk Mound Seed Company is a family owned and operated business. Current ownership of Elk Mound Seed Company can be traced back to 1933 when Albert “Al” Zutter purchased the Farmers Produce Company located in Chippewa Falls, WI. The Elk Mound location, then called Elk Mound Feed & Farm Supply, was opened as part of an expansion when Mr. Zutter started Zutter Feed & Seed Store in 1945. The company has since transformed itself, focusing on seed markets, but the business has remained family owned. Elk Mound Seed offers a wide variety of seed corn, soybeans, alfalfa and other non-native seeds that are difficult to find. We also offer seed mixing, which allows farmers to mix and match seed into their own custom mix. With a remodel in 2005 and 2017, the retail store now provides a larger display area for customers.
