After more than fifteen rewarding years as a project designer in two renowned landscape architectural firms in Nürnberg, Germany and Boston, USA, I started studioB Landschaftsarchitektur in June 2008. My professional experience covers all phases and scales of landscape architectural projects, from the first conceptual ideas, through design, management and construction, documentation and supervision. Ever since having worked in the US, teaching at various academies has become a rewarding component of my professional life.'Nature meets culture' …The overlay and interaction over time, of the natural equipment of a site with the efforts mankind took and needs to take, to turn this encounter into a mutually beneficial relationship, has always been of major interest for me. During my American years as staff and ultimately as a principal at Sasaki Associates, my focus has oriented towards the dry landscapes of the American West, the Mediterranean Realm and Middle East. I was and keep being involved with various campus related planning and design projects in Utah, Arizona, Greece, Lebanon, Egypt and Abu Dhabi.
