Ellescope exists because mothers are still dying, in the worst cases, from preventable pregnancy complications or poor mental health. Maternal risk is multifactorial. We believe that there is a need to change the scope of how to look at maternal health, by broadening the dimensions of health that we screen for, and by interrogating all existing datasets rather than creating new silos. At Ellescope, we are building integrated AI-native risk-intelligence technology to improve patient safety and provide workforce relief. Our goal is to save mothers’ lives on the maternity ward and in postnatal care. We are funded by Innovate UK, SBRI Healthcare and Year Here/The Funding Network.
