Elvin Post (1973) won in 2004 de Gouden Strop met zijn debuut met Groene vrijdag. Ook zijn tweede thriller, Vals beeld, werd genomineerd voor die prijs. Met Roomservice won hij de Diamanten Kogel, de belangrijkste Vlaamse thrillerprijs. Zijn werk is uitgegeven in het Duits, Frans, Spaans, Turks, Hebreeuws en Indonesisch. Arizona Blues (2018) werd lovend ontvangen. In 2021 is de thriller De cursus gelanceerd. En in 2022 is naast zijn eerste young adult thriller Geen weg terug ook nog de thriller Breekpunt gepubliceerd.
