Founded in May of 2018, amidst the rise of yearly wildfires consuming homes and entire communities, Ember Defense founders saw an ever-growing need for solutions to help mitigate the devastating effects of wildfires. With that goal in mind, they began researching the science behind wildfires and quickly realized that there was an abundance of products available, but no one was fully utilizing them or providing a place where consumers could obtain, educate, and benefit from them. They began implementing the most obvious home hardening solution: installing retrofit ember and fire safe exterior vents. Ember Defense has since grown to include multiple products and services and continues to evolve with the needs of its clients. With our passion about blending fire tech with proven strategies, Ember Defense is now the Discovery Marketplace for Wildfire Risk Mitigation.
