Embrace Farm

Embrace FARM is a support network for farm families who have been affected by serious injury or sudden death. Originally started as a charity to support farm families in the aftermath of a farm accident, Embrace FARM have since grown to include support for any serious injury where the person’s life was altered physically or mentally/cognitively, and sudden death which includes death by suicide, sudden terminal illness, sudden medical events and farming accidents. We are here to support farm families across Ireland, only how and when they need us. Embrace FARM obtained its fully charitable status in 2017 and is now fully operational as a not-for-profit organisation, the first of its kind for the farming community in Ireland. The organisation is guided and controlled by a voluntary Board of Directors. This includes representatives from families who have bereaved family members or suffered injuries due to farm accidents, as well as professionals working in the agricultural sector.
