Embrace Ideas

embrace ideas) is a startup focused on sustainability in the built environment. We strongly believe that the only sustainable future is a future that is greener- and we are working to help transform the building design industry into one that takes climate and environmental impact into account at very early project stages. We are actively developing web-based tools for developers and architects, which are intended to help project teams think about and incorporate sustainability measures at very early (i.e, pre-sketch) phases. We provide subsidiary consulting services, as structural engineers and sustainability specialists. While we work on projects of all types, we have a particular interest in and focus on highly sustainable projects. Wherever possible, we work to reduce the embodied emissions in structures by implementing design for disassembly and/or design for re-use, and we believe that designing to minimize emissions should be an integral part of the work of all design teams.
