Emech Medical commenced operation in 1996 as a business supplying rehabilitation equipment including hospital beds, hoists and specialty chairs primarily into Rest-homes. We also undertook to service everything that we sold and the service side of the business grew into servicing many varied pieces of equipment. The range that we sold continued to expand and in 2004 we opened the Medical side of the business and took on several agency’s including MOCOM Bench-top Autoclaves, Bovie Electrosurgical Equipment and the Pelstar Scales range. This grew rapidly and we also purchased calibration equipment so that we could offer a biomedical and calibration service for backup for the equipment that we sold. Today we stock and sell a wide range of products to primary healthcare providers including Hospitals, Medical / Surgical Centers, Dentists, Veterinarians and Podiatrists. Emech Medical is now a large national corporate healthcare supplier providing sales & support services to both New Zealand and Australian based customers including all of the District Health Boards.
