Established in 1992, Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) is a leading employer of residency-trained, board-certified emergency physicians. We provide Emergency Department staffing and management services in the United States. Today, EMP treats nearly 3 million patients at more than 60 hospitals in 15 states. EMP is a large group practice, not a staffing company. Our structure makes every full time EMP physician an equal equity owner in the company.
