emergent labs is a design studio and strategy consultancy working at the intersection of urban planning, culture, & mobility. We partner with change agents in the non-profit, private, and government sectors to create physical and digital spaces for local residents, activists, culture bearers, and creatives to ideate and shape the world. By centering and uplifting the multi-layered Black, Indigenous, People of Color experience, we reimagine the future of the world with BIPOC as self-determining agents whose lived experiences are inscribed in the built environment. We do this by challenging dominant discourse & bringing cultural strategy to planning.
