Emerging Wisdom Counseling

We are mindfulness-based mental health counselors who use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to compassionately attend to pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, grieving, and more. We currently work with individuals, couples, and families ages 13 and up. Our environment tends to be warm, gentle and connecting. Our approach is honest, respectful, and without-judgment of you or the issues that are bringing you to therapy. We are CBT & EMDR therapists who have strong interests in Attachment, Somatic, Neuropsychology, Humanistic, Dialectical Behavioral therapies (DBT), and more. Our clients learn how to cope with distressful situations, regulate difficult emotions, heal relationship issues, improve communication skills, and set and maintain healthy boundaries with people in their lives.
