scroll down for Hungarian) EMMA Association is a national women’s organization, which works for the fundamental rights and societal equality of women, paying special attention to gender-based oppression, violence against women during the childbearing and childrearing period, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), on the individual, community and social level, with a special focus on vulnerable groups of women. Main activities of EMMA Association: EMMA Helpline: anonymously helpline service for women facing difficulties in maternity care and motherhood; EMMA Hubs: a safe space for women to promote social justice and solidarity; Community Network of Female Companions: providing support to Roma women with regards to sexual and reproductive health and rights, specifically to promote access to maternity care and contraception; Women living in homelessness: training professionals to provide trauma-informed care; Social activism: turning personal experiences into community-building and social activism; Research: promoting systemic change through research on women's experiences; Humanitarian Program: case management focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights for refugee women and girls.
