Emmaline Giles Consulting

I facilitate communities and organizations to develop trauma-informed leaders, community-led environmental justice policy reform processes, community-based participatory action research, and co-created and cross-sector programming that effectively address the root of social and racial injustices throughout low-income and marginalized Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities. I believe that community-centered fundraising and working directly with community to co-create the conditions needed to self-organize, directly control the power and money through resource redistribution, and build capacity are key for communities and organizations to achieve equitable and just outcomes. My unique perspective and understanding of the support many organizations provide to communities as well as the challenges they can face while navigating authentic and effective community engagement enables me to quickly understand the complexity and needs of organizations, including their programming, communities, and clients.
