Emmaus Merseyside

Emmaus Merseyside is an award-winning charity that offers a home, individual support, education, training and work opportunities to people who have experienced homelessness. We have a purpose-built, 28-bedroom community building in Seaforth that is home to the people we support, known as Emmaus companions. Each person who joins us has their own en-suite bedroom, as well as access to communal dining, catering, social, exercise, garden and training facilities. To sustain the support offered at our community, the majority of our charity’s income is raised through our social enterprise. The Emmaus Merseyside Charity Superstore sells a wide range of good quality second-hand furniture, household goods, electrical appliances, clothes, books, music and other items.
