Emory Hope

A nonprofit Emory-Chartered palliative care volunteer group focused on connecting student volunteers on the pre-health track to local hospice centers in Atlanta, GA including Amicasa and Hospice Atlanta Center (HAC). We work with an average of 30 volunteers with a purpose to promote Hospice, Outreach, Perspectives, and Engagement. We organize and host symposiums and healthcare-related presentations delivered by medical professionals; coordinate with medical professionals to host debrief sessions for volunteers where they can reflect on their patient-volunteer experiences and learn about the experiences of others on a weekly basis.
