Employer Benefit Systems (EBS) has been providing employee benefit planning services since 1978. The insurance broker is proud to be the largest locally owned employee benefits firm in Northwest Indiana. Over the past 30 years, EBS has worked with the area’s leading employers to help them develop their benefit plans. EBS consults or brokers for over 120 clients in six states. Our clients range in size from two to 4,500 employees. EBS manages more than $95 million dollars of premium annually and currently works with clients like Community Health Care Systems, Alverno Clinical Labs, First National Bank of Illinois, Town of Dyer and Legends Gaming. EBS is an Elite Agent with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and a United Advantage Gold Broker with United Health Care. Our clients practice in a variety of markets and industries and we utilize our technology to leverage benchmarked information in our strategic planning for each client. EBS is a closely held firm led by its founder and owner, Willis H. Glaros, RHU, and his son and vice president of sales and operations, Matthew Glaros. The firm is supported by two benefit professionals and one support staff.
