Empower 2 Play

Empower 2 Play (E2P) is a U.S.based NGO whose mission is to identify next generation leaders and foster cross-cultural relations through the power of sports. Their vision is to create a global family one sport at a time by connecting diverse populations to promote cultural understanding with a focus on building youth leadership for future generations. Empower 2 Play has impacted over lives, meals served along with more than 300 volunteers along with 15 educational scholarships in the Philippines and is now headed to Haiti in September 2016. Founded in 2015 by social entrepreneur, former Division 1 two-sport athlete and 4x All American runner (University of Oregon), AK Ikwuakor, the organization is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. With the help of our supporters and social media, we aim to bring communities together one sport at a time. Our program is facilitated by volunteers and interns working remotely worldwide.
