An international organization based in the Netherlands and Morocco which aims at promoting women's leadership in East Asia and North Africa by hosting various seminars, workshops and mentorship programs (mostly online, with some special series offline) to empower women and build supportive connections. The organization is co-founded by SUSI scholars from Morocco and China. We aim to build a system of growth that takes time and courage to mobilize power at work. This online platform does not focus on nostalgia, it is not a critical project of mapping out past gender performance even though they are very much valued, instead,we look for the future, the imagination and potentials of acting upon women in leadership. It is also about needs,the replacement of ideas, installations and migrating. We emphasize on reflecting on the functionality and materialization of how such empowerful move can work differently in these cultural contexts, and we make a record on it - not to change the past but to report back to the temporal space for extending the progress. Our platform also aims to break stereotypes about women and facilitate their active involvement in learning and civil society. Mission: Empowerfulher is a unique non-profit community focused on highlighting relevant issues affecting women locally and globally, supporting them to achieve their full potential, and empowering them to excel as leaders of their communities across all spheres of society. Vision: Provide opportunities for young women to empower their leadership and deepen their understanding about the instability and beauty of challenging the past in this technological driven society.
