Empowering Minds Announces Evolution to Empowering Artists (EA) Pivoting to Support Artist Development and Deepen Impact in the Community [Calgary, August 9th, 2023]- Empowering Minds, a leading charitable organization dedicated to empowering youth and emerging leaders, is excited to announce a major restructuring and rebranding initiative, transforming into Empowering Artists (EA). This strategic change is a natural extension of our Live & Unsigned events and a response to the increasing need for comprehensive support for emerging musical artists in Canada. Launched in 2006, Empowering Minds™ leadership programs have provided over teens with world-class leadership experiences. In 2012, to support efforts to engage leaders in the community who are passionate about education, Empowering Minds™ became an independent, public charity. Empowering Minds™ programs are currently offered to school boards across the province of Alberta and are active in classrooms Calgary wide. Our mission is to provide youth and educators with proven and innovative programs that develop the confidence, resiliency and focus necessary to thrive in today’s world. Teen Leadership Breakthrough provides youth and leaders the opportunity to: • build stronger, healthier relationships • greater self-awareness • heightened enthusiasm for life and personal goals • improved social and emotional intelligence • and increase their public speaking confidence
