Enactus Ucu

Enactus UCU is a social entrepreneurship organization at University College Utrecht. We combine principles and techniques of entrepreneurship with a strong focus on addressing social and environmental issues. Our mission statement is “To identify and empower people in need through social entrepreneurship.” We are one of 15 Enactus teams, in the Netherlands, and are currently the only University College in the Netherlands with its own Enactus team. We are also one of the few teams in the country that functions in English. Enactus is an international non-profit organization that brings together student, academic and business leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need. Guided by academic advisors and business experts, the student leaders of Enactus create and implement community empowerment projects around the globe. The experience not only transforms lives, it helps students develop the kind of talent and perspective that are essential to leadership in an ever-more complicated and challenging world.
