Enactus Uva

Enactus UvA is part of the global non-profit organization Enactus (formerly SIFE). Enactus UvA is the network of students, higher education and business leaders that takes action together to improve the quality of life and the standard of living of those in need in their environment. Enactus UvA students see opportunities, take action and enable progress by setting up social enterprises. En-act-us stands for- Entrepreneurial- Entrepreneurship: seeing opportunities and converting the talent of those opportunities into values- Action - Action: the quality to convert an idea into a result- Us - We: individuals who together are greater than the sum of its parts. The goal of Enactus is to connect students (the future leaders) with the business community to increase the self-reliance of people who need it and create economic opportunities for them.
