Elizabeth Keenan, Encadrium's owner, has been framing for over ten years. She holds both basic and advanced certificates in conservation framing techniques and regularly attends industry trade shows and workshops in order to bring you the latest and greatest framing techniques and styles. Elizabeth is dedicated to preserving your artwork and display pieces as well as beautifully displaying and enhancing them. For this reason she uses only conservation grade materials such as UV filtered glass, and acid free matting. Prior to Encadrium's storefront operations, we were Distinctive Framing, a small private studio on Docteur Penfield. When we expanded and moved to our current location we introduced an artisanal boutique to our operations, showcasing the masterpieces of Montreal's most gifted craftspeople.
