Encompass Privacy Solutions, Inc. offers privacy compliance solutions to clients in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Founded in 2016 to provide privacy expertise to departments of the Canadian federal government, Encompass Privacy Solutions is located in Ottawa, Canada. Rob Gilbert (CIPP/C/E, CIPT, CIPM) is the founder and CEO of Encompass Privacy Solutions. Rob has worked in privacy compliance for nine years, beginning as the Manager of Privacy Policy with the Canada Border Services Agency, and, most recently, as Project Manager for the Privacy Act Reform Initiative. Rob’s expertise in GDPR, Privacy Impact Assessments, public sector compliance and regulator engagement has made him a leader in Canada’s privacy professional community. A former Canadian Advisory Board member with the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Rob has provided training and guidance to hundreds of privacy professionals in the public and private sectors.
