Enem Nostrum Remedies Pvt. Ltd. is a DSIR recognized,(Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, India) pharmaceutical research center, located in Mumbai. EnEm is one of the very few dedicated pharmaceutical Research & Development facilities in India which focuses entirely on formulations research in a the highly specialized area of Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) for oral solid dosage forms. NDDS products have a multi billion dollar market world wide which is growing at a rapid space because of less and less new drugs getting approved with ever increasing cost of new drug discovery. This space is limited and only a handful of companies globally having been able to successfully develop and launch drug delivery products. The high profit margins exist because of limited competition owing to high barriers to entry with respect to technology, regulatory hurdles, patent issues and cost of development.
