EnergyAi® was founded in 2009 by Dave Krinkel, and is based in Berkeley, California. The inspiration for EnergyAi® came from Dave's 30 years of experience developing energy analysis tools for utilities and large energy users. Now that smart meters provide detailed energy use data to even the smallest of businesses, we saw an opportunity. Offer a simple, very low cost service that monitors a business' operations 24x7 and alerts you when something unusual occurs. Such as equipment getting left on, usage spikes at odd hours, even equipment failures. Two factors driving EnergyAi® are "low cost" and "easy".
