Engen

Engen, a Vivo Energy brand, is an African-based energy company committed to powering progress - responsibly and sustainably. With a heritage dating back to 1897 and trading as Engen since 1993, we have grown from strong South African roots into a trusted energy partner serving retail and commercial customers through an extensive network of approximately 1,050 service stations, manufacturing facilities and distribution operations. Beyond fuels, we are expanding our non-fuel retail offering and investing in innovative, more sustainable energy solutions that support lower-carbon pathways, operational efficiency and community upliftment. Together, Engen & Vivo Energy combine deep local heritage with pan-African scale - enabling economic growth, strengthening communities and delivering reliable energy today, while helping shape a more sustainable energy future for Africa.
