Engineered Corrosion Solutions is a unique owner-centric technical conference focusing on the fundamental issues pertaining to corrosion. Solutions to corrosion and erosion (for concrete) are highly complex and constantly changing. It is virtually impossible for owners to make optimal solutions pertaining to their corrosion issues. ECS will provide unique value to every attendee from every industry. Owners will save time and money by having a better understanding of corrosion and also by meeting some of the most competent and knowledgeable vendors in a variety of different industries. Whether addressing corrosion under insulation (CUI) at a refinery, a rusty bridge, a leaking cooling tower basin at a commercial building, peeling paint at a high school, failing anodized railings, floor coating cracking, the interior of a sulfuric acid tank or corrosion on a circuit board, the fundamental corrosion mechanisms are identical. ECS was developed by Warren Brand, owner of Chicago Coatings Group and focuses exclusively on understanding corrosion on a practical, technical and fundamental level. ECS presents state-of-the-art remedial solutions, and lectures on the total economic and managerial decision-making process. The focus of ECS 2015 is on information sharing.
