Method I combine effective building or brushing up grammar bases on a particular level, smooth transition to reading texts, listening or watching recordings, and especially conversation with an emphasis on conscious vocabulary development on the intuitive background of previously mastered grammar. In the grammar part, I use a lot of visual support in the form of summary overviews, charts and diagrams, which gradually, but indelibly "burn" into the memory with the Czech-English drill on the most common vocabulary. If necessary, I keep writing sample sentences on the board. In this phase, it is a conscious concentration on one or a few grammatical structures, between which the student gradually learns to subconsciously and confidently switch. For each student, however, the drill has its limits, which can only be crossed by communication and thinking in the target language. That is where the conversational part starts in my concept, the communication taking place only in English, except for special expressions. Teaching materials are selected parts of English textbooks or current articles, videos and presentations from online sources. During the course, I constantly recycle older vocabulary and compare it with the newly presented vocabulary, all on live example sentences, clearly arranged on the virtual board.
