Enso Village

Enso Village is America’s first and only Zen-inspired senior living community, creating a workplace unlike any other. Here, staff and residents are an integral part of our community’s wellbeing, forming close and meaningful relationships while upholding both our professionalism and humanity in equal measure. Sustaining others is what sustains us. Set amid the hills and vineyards of Sonoma County, Enso Village’s 15-acre campus will include 221 independent living, 30 assisted living, and 24 memory care residences with amenities ranging from a Zendo meditation hall to an indoor, heated pool and hydrotherapy spa. We are a creative collaboration between two exemplary not-for-profit organizations, the San Francisco Zen Center and The Kendal Corporation with guiding principles that reflect who we are and what we do: Health & Wellness - We dedicate ourselves to evolve the experience of aging, consciously honoring each person’s authentic path while valuing the wellbeing of everybody. Mindfulness - We understand wellness to include care for the mind, offering mindful spaces and time for silence, meditation, and work practice as well as traditional Zen rituals. Sustainability - We commit to environmental stewardship built on measurable objectives with respect to our occupied spaces and daily nourishment. Community - We co-create our community to nurture curiosity and courage while fostering mindful living and offering opportunities for personal growth.
