Enterprise Dunedin

Enterprise Dunedin is a department of the Dunedin City Council and is the city’s lead agency for economic development initiatives and destination marketing. We are the primary driver for the city's Economic Development Strategy in partnership with key organisations representing business, education and local Iwi. Our vision is to become one of the world's great small cities; we are renowned as a confident, competitive knowledge centre, a community where enterprise and creativity support a productive and sustainable city. Key focus areas are: •supporting local businesses, growing the economy and fostering opportunities for employment •providing a positive environment for investment •marketing the city as an authentic and intriguing visitor destination •developing the Dunedin brand We work in partnership with local industry groups and businesses, event and conference organisers, national and international media, Tourism New Zealand and the Tourism Industry Association of New Zealand to promote Dunedin as a fantastic place to experience nature and heritage, get a world-class education, work, study, invest and live.
