Entrepreneur Expose'

On October 24, 2009, the first Entrepreneur Expose’ will occur at the Hamilton Park Conference Center in Florham Park, NJ. The event, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, is set to position entrepreneurship as one solution to our economic challenges and offer real options to help women start and grow a business. Entrepreneur Expose’ is a combination of Expo and Conference. The 3 Governor candidates will speak to the attendees regarding their plans to build and retain business in NJ. Also speaking is: Nina E. Moseley, Senior Director of the Division of Minority & Women Business Development for the Department of Treasury for the State of New Jersey; Denise Boutross McGlone, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer- Affinity Federal Credit Union; and Mike Michalowicz, Author of The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur and a three time successful Multi-Million Dollar Entrepreneur. His most recent venture is Obsidian Launch. Finally, Nancy Michaels, a mother of three, a renowned author of 5 marketing books and a liver transplant survivor is the afternoon Key Note. Representatives from the Division of Minority and Women Business Development will be on hand to assist attendees to register their businesses. Angel Investors from HGH Holdings are participating in the "Behind the Curtain" and will hear the attendees pitch their businesses or business ideas in the ‘Sharkette Tank.’ The Angel Investors were added along with writers from media outlets such as NJ Monthly, Silk Purse Women Magazine, In Biz and Identity Magazine who will be available throughout the day in the Behind the Curtain. Pre-registration for participating in this section is required. The Break-Out Session includes panel discussions on: Strategies, Information and Options for Start-Ups; Handling Your Business Finances; Recession Proof Marketing; and Growing an Empire.
