We are EnVirtue. Our mission is to raise awareness about the most pressing issue facing us, and the rest of planet earth. Climate Change. Through rigorous, scientifically backed research, we aim to confront the three major components: the role that the world’s largest corporations have to play; governmental accountability, and the impact on wider society and the global economy. By the time the UK’s goal of net zero is reached, the world's changing climate will recalibrate the global economy. Nor will net zero – even if attained by the world – reverse climate change. Rather, a global net zero, will mean temperatures stagnate: in other words, the conditions which we see today, and will see tomorrow, will continue indefinitely, with the enormous cost and change they represent. Only expedited action, which goes beyond net zero to negative zero, will do anything to safeguard our own futures.
