EOstudy EOStudy was founded in Canada in 1991 by a group of professors, lecturers and programmers experienced in the field of teaching English as a second language. Through the combination of their unique abilities and their hard work, they created an entirely unique system of distance education. By utilizing the internet, which has become an integral part of our daily lives, they were able to offer a method of learning that’s simple to use and connects students to native English teachers in other parts of the world…without having to leave your home! All of our teachers at EOStudy have years of experience teaching online to students from all over the world. Each teacher is hired based on their experience and professional qualifications, namely their teaching certificates and university degrees from well-respected institutions in English speaking countries. Every teacher’s certificates include at least a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA ensuring you get the most qualified and experienced teachers skilled in guiding others through the process of English language learning. Our online teaching method includes an online classroom equipped with a videoconferencing system, allowing students to both see and hear the teacher, as well as a white board on which the teacher can write notes and highlight important words and phrases in the lessons. Seeing the teacher offers students the chance to better understand words and phrases by being able to link them with specific gestures. Besides, it can be quite entertaining to watch a teacher act out the meanings of words for you and inject some fun into the lesson! The whiteboard feature allows the teacher to share lesson slides with the student and make notes for them during the lesson in real time. They can also share links to helpful websites like news articles and videos. This ensures that the student will learn the most that they possibly can from each lesson just like if they were in a real classroom with a blackboard.
