Environmental Protection and Agricultural Solutions (EPASSOM), formerly known as the Somali Environmental Protection Organisation (Somali EPO), is a non-governmental and profit-making organization that locally operates in Somalia to promote a prosperous and better life through Environmental Protection and Sustainable Agricultural development solutions. EPASSOM was founded in 2014 by a group of Somali intellectuals to promote Environmental Protection and Agricultural Development awareness in the Somali communities and to bridge them with other environmental and agricultural stakeholders to enhance the livelihoods of the Somali people through cultivating an environment whereby every person acts as an Environmental Protection and Agricultural Solutions ambassador. EPASSOM works with both rural and urban Somali communities, small-scale fishery communities, and Farmer communities in providing all kinds of Humanitarian Aid assistance, including Environmental Protection Projects, Sustainable Agricultural Solution Projects, Livelihood Improvement & Food Security projects, Community Health & Education Projects, Human rights, Youth & Gender Empowerment Projects, and Vocational Training Projects having enough capacity and technically expertise staff to implement the above projects. EPASSOM is also a multidisciplinary Organisation with over 50 qualified staff and networks that provide reliable Consulting services, Assessments, research, Surveys, Monitoring and evaluations, construction and infrastructure developments, Procurement services, Capacity building Training, advocacy for Good governance, Justice, Peacebuilding, Human rights, Democracy, Organising community volunteers, and social dialogues.
