EPHEMERA is a swimwear brand focussed on beautiful cut, superior fabrication and interesting colour combinations. Founded in Paris in 2012 and later relocated to Sydney, the brand was conceived with the firm belief that swimwear collections should and need to be on par with the world of ready-to-wear. We believe that swimwear can be pushed to a new level and we therefore take a non-traditional approach to the design of our swimwear collections. EPHEMERA is characterised by a clean and restrained aesthetic. Great attention to detail is given to fabrication: we use the highest quality Italian lycra and place utmost importance on cut, fit and finish. Founder and Designer, Nicole Banning, comes from a luxury design background that includes a stint as a Designer at fabled fashion house Saint Laurent, Paris. This experience supports the brand’s mission to create beautiful, ‘must-have’ pieces that are executed to the highest technical standards.
